Wow, do I love this family. Julie, Patrick, and Cillian are such a silly, fun-loving family. We met for this mini session not long after my brother had passed away. Getting out to do what I love, with people I love (Patrick joined me), while the leaves were in that perfect, peak stage right before they fall off the tree was a bright light in a dark time.
We have been lucky enough to know Brent and Corbin since Patrick began teaching. Brent was a source of guidance for Patrick in the early days when he felt overwhelmed in his role. With a smile and a joke, Brent always knew how to help Pat with his classroom challenges. I was lucky enough to spend time with him outside of the school setting at lots of social gatherings.
I’m a big, big fan of the cozy at-home engagement session. I’ve noticed there’s something about being in someone’s space that allows their personalities to really shine through. The comfort of being at home means I get to observe and capture who you are when no one’s looking.
When the Soybel family welcomed me into their home, you would have never guessed they just brought home their newborn daughter. Candles were lit, their stylish home was tidy, and everyone looked beautiful. Especially new mama Erin and little baby Isla in her hedgehog outfit 🙂
