Last fall, in the midst of the loss of my brother, I was looking for a place where Patrick and I could go for a night. A little trip to look forward to. A little retreat. I ended up booking a night at Getaway House outside of Shenandoah National Park (you’ve probably seen their ads on Instagram).
It was almost time for the show. The best moment came when I was paired up with an older 4-Her, a “junior leader” mentor, who I’d always looked up to- Kimberly. I’ve learned that one of my absolute favorite types of photography sessions are babies and their families. It’s cliche to say, but the time flies by so quickly when they are little.
