The National Portrait Gallery is one of my favorite DC spots to visit. In addition to gorgeous exhibits and free entry (we are so lucky!), the gallery boasts a beautiful, bright courtyard in the center that is lovely year-round. It’s the perfect place for natural light even in the cold winter months.

Laurie claimed she was nervous about being in front of the camera, but it didn’t take long for her to warm up 🙂 With a little encouragement and a lot of jokes, she was absolutely glowing! It was a joy to get to serve such a sweet, happy soul.
