Couples like Janna and Sam don’t come around often. In addition to being insanely fun and adventurous, they seemed to have known each other forever at the very beginning of their relationship.
Janna and I met and became close friends when we lived in the same building in college. I remember when she and Sam first started spending time together our sophomore year… She claimed she really liked him, but that “it’s not going to get serious.” Five years later, they got married on a beautiful May evening in the Outer Banks. The same place they had visited dozens of times together enjoying the ocean, truly getting to know eachother, and building a relationship. They even shared their special place in the Outer Banks with me a few times (once on a spring break trip as their third-wheel- love you two!).
Needless to say, I adore these two and was so honored to photograph them in Georgetown last weekend. I have lots of images to share, so this is only the beginning. Look out for a Part II coming soon!
