What a joy to witness Brent and Corbin’s relationship and capture their wedding. The day began with perfect, sunny fall weather. Brent and Corbin are so thoughtful and invited Patrick and I to enjoy lunch together, catch up, and fuel up for the day ahead! If you missed it, you can read a little more about them and see their Washington, DC engagement session here. After lunch, they took “the girls,” their poodles Millie and Charlotte, for a walk around the neighborhood and I couldn’t help but snap away. They are such a photogenic family!
These two! I was lucky enough to meet Lauren during my yoga teacher training earlier this year. For 200 hours, we learned about the physical, spiritual, and philosophical practice of yoga and …let’s just say it was more than we both bargained for. There’s nothing like a lot of intense, deep topics and tears to bond with a stranger! We ended the training as close friends and I was honored when she asked me to photograph her engagement session!
I was lucky enough to meet Meghan and her husband Taylor at Kate and George’s wedding this spring! They are a super easy-going couple and we had a blast at their maternity session. We started in their apartment and then headed over to this iconic Navy Yard bridge along the Washington, DC waterfront.
On the night he proposed, we were all drinking champagne when Max asked if I’d always thought they’d get married. After thinking about it, I realized that I did by default because it simply never occurred to me that they would break up.
When they started dating in high school over eight years ago, it seemed crazy to think of this day.
