Wow, I am really on my blogging game this week! I’m excited to cap this week’s posts off with this sweet boy. I was lucky enough to photograph Carter for his first birthday (see the post here) and meet his parents. Last year, we shot on the hottest day of the year in the middle of the summer in Alexandria.

This year, we lucked out with gorgeous weather and beautiful light. Fun fact: these were actually taken behind my parents’ house! Carter’s mom is expecting their second baby so we drove my Dad’s Ranger (a golf cart-type thing) down to the woods to grab these shots. Carter was more excited about the Ranger than taking photos (see the last picture in this post), but I think he still had a great time running around, exploring the woods, and finding dandelions in the tall grass as the sun set.

Happy second birthday, Carter!! I can’t wait to meet your baby sister soon 🙂
