It’s summertime!! I got to kick things off with the sweetest start to the new season— a new little friend named Clara! When I arrived at the Watson’s home on Memorial Day, it was clear that Clara was ready for her moment on camera because she wouldn’t stop smiling and giggling. Apparently, Clara’s mom Mary had been talking about the session with her and I really think she understood because she was a perfect model!

All of these were taken right outside in their backyard at sunrise. My favorite moment, aside from getting lots of hugs and love from Clara, was when her dad Alex turned to me and said, “that was a lot less painful than I was expected!” That’s the highest compliment from a man who probably wasn’t excited to do family photos and had to get up before sunrise on a holiday 🙂

This little crew was so much fun to hang out with. Even more than being super photogenic, they are lighthearted, kind, and show their love for each other constantly. It was truly my pleasure to get to spend the morning with them.
