Jefferson Memorial, Washington, DC
Hello! First, let me say that if you are reading this, I am so grateful for you. Thank you for joining me on this new adventure of professional photography! The supportive response I’ve received is more than I could have imagined. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The images below are perfect to share in my first post because they were taken to celebrate a new beginning, much like I am celebrating now. I hope you enjoy them!
Earlier this summer, my friend Andi and I completed a task on our DC bucket list. For years, we’ve talked about waking up before the sun and enjoying one of the beautiful city monuments before the tourists arrive. For some reason, our plan never came to fruition until a lifelong dream of Andi’s came true- she was finally moving to San Francisco! Our DC bucket list suddenly had a timeline and we made our sunrise session happen.
I brought my camera to the Jefferson Memorial to document one of her last days in the city that we love so much. We’ve shared so much here since we met in college and I hope these images always remind her of the beauty and fun of becoming an adult in our nation’s capital.
