I have never met a more smiley baby than little Caroline! When I met with her and her parents, Margot and Blake, on a beautiful fall evening in Annapolis, she was grinning ear to ear. And from then on it didn’t stop!

I approach photo shoots with little ones like a ticking time bomb… I grab the happy face shots as quickly as possible because inevitably there is a meltdown! It’s not a problem, it’s just part of little ones being part of the mix! But Caroline delighted us all by giggling for their entire hour-long family session.

Thanks to Caroline being so entertaining, I didn’t get around to asking Margot and Blake more about themselves until the end of the session. It turns out they are helicopter pilots for the Navy! How cool is that?! I had a million questions to ask, but tried to contain myself. Needless to say, this is one awesome family and I am so glad I got to capture this season for them.
