Sweet baby Sofia. This little lady turned one recently and her adorable family came over to celebrate with a cake smash session. Sofia’s mom, Maria, wanted to keep things clean and simple for the theme. This is why I always allow families to bring their own props and cake! There are so many styles and I want the images to match your vision, not a set of props I could pick out and provide.
Sofia’s feminine, understated session was perfect for such a sweet little girl. I couldn’t get enough of her cheeks and curls and thighs! Those rolls, so delicious 🙂
After a few family photos with dad Carlos and big brother Diego, we took a few of just Sofia with her block letters and then she dove into her cake! Diego was very patient, giving Sofia a few seconds to dig in before he came in to “help” her. Then, it quickly became a family affair with icing in hair and flowers everywhere. It was exactly what I love about cake smashes. They are such a fun experience, not just a photo shoot. I know I can’t get enough of them!
